Was all set and looking forward to MITP, went out this morning to tweak my ride height and when i was tightening the whelel nut back up the stud snapped off!!!

Wasn't even that tight, maybe i don't know my own strength, either way i had to have a trip up to Mini Spares and then sort it out, by which time it was too late. I'm a bit pissed off now, was really looking forward to it.

Ah well, the loys of mini ownership!!

Anyone else missing out and for what reason?

Yeah mini is in the garage dropped it off at Collins in Erdington this morning only to watch convoys of mini's fly by on my return home without the mini might pop tomorrow

took mine to collin on thurs for a rolling road. did a bloody good job on her and she runs sweetly, only for her to do this to me this morning!!!!

Mine normally does that, but AFTER a mini show, normally when I’ve just bought a nice pile of goodies that doesn’t include new broken bit.

i've been keeoing occupied by fiddling with my hi lo and damper settings. making sure not to over tighten the bloody wheel nuts when putting the wheels back on of course!!

had enough now so i'll leave it for today and have another go tomorrow.

keeping an eye out for the footy results, come on the Villa!!

his car would not run very well saturday morning so after 4 hours of fiddleing he gave up and went to mitp in tommy k's ford fester

they got there about 9 pm and set their tent up in the rain (gay three some) then started drinking

sunday morning no sign of them so i send the beans in with water pistols to find them

sick everywhere and 3 almost alive bodys

they felt so bad they went home at mid day with out even going into the show

10 hours in a car for one night drinking in the rain
