Hi all I feel like I am on a dating website, my name is steve originally from Birmingham and worked at land rover for 20 yrs but in 2007 took the plunge and moved to southern Ireland ( god knows why ) but that's another story, anyway I bought a mini clubman 4 yrs ago fro a mini enthusiast in Dublin and drove it back 85 miles no problem. I bought it as a 2/3 yr project to completely strip right down to the shell and do a COMPLETE nut and bolt restoration but it has sat in the garage since and I only started it just before Christmas and I now have the bug but the guy I bought it of said he had carried out some restoration work on it and typical cowboys over here I cant believe that the whole front panel has been replaced and the new one is held on with god knows how many rivets and silicone but not a problem as I want to rebuild it if poss to as new condition as money allows. as it is the clubman estate I fancy converting it to a van but I am aware that the side van panels are no longer available but if any one knows any better I would appreciate any info, any way thought I would introduce myself.
