Really wanting some fender mirrors now... Any thoughts guys? Found some on ebay: Linky

Fairly sure RossKnight's mini has mirrors on the wings, looks good imo, on his build thread

Depending on the cost of importing from the UK, you could check out the reproduction wheels that are sold by Midland wheels. There are some cool 10" wheels available there. OR I bet the Aussies have a decent supply of cool wheels too (both new and used). Plus I'd imagine it would be cheaper to bring them from Australia,

We have a similar problem locally, especially if we're looking for some wheels that are unique and pretty.

Little **** being taken home after overheating 2 minutes before arriving at the event... Still unsure what's wrong at this point...  :(

That really sucks :( Hope you can get it sorted out. How long did it run hot for and has it happened before?

Nice one on the fender mirrors and angel lights, I bet they are much brighter than the standard bulbs :)

Also looks like a good turnout at your event. I quite like the unique striping on the GT parked next to your mini.

It was the first time it's overheated, weird as it was working fine then I went in for a tune and it overheated on the next big trip (25 minute drive) right outside the market day events gates   Still unsure what's failed in the cooling system to cause it but my mechanics guessing it's blown the head gasket and cracked the head... So will be out of action for a couple weeks.

Bugger, that is probably a bit of work. How difficult is it to source a new head in NZ?

Is it not possibly something else in the system (which might be easier to sort out) ? Like a broken water pump, or a stuck thermostat, or even a leak in the radiator? Might be worth checking the state of the other components in the cooling system for any worn parts and replacing them while you're getting the head work done.
