Hey everyone. My name is Luke and I've just joined the forum looking for some advice.

I've a 2002 Mini r50. She's my baby. I hate to see her blow her tires in potholes due to my lack of visibility at night.

As it stands I have in 4500K Xenon bulbs that just aren't good enough. I'd like to keep the white light (yellow looks ugly, to me at least), but have better visibility at night. I was thinking upgrading to 6000/8000K bulbs but I'm worried about blowing the wiring harness.

Any advice about the limitations of the harness and any first hand experiences with more powerful headlight bulbs in similar year and model minis would be greatly appreciated. This has been nagging me for months. Thanks!
