Just a quick one.

As I pretty much have a stage1 kit now, apart from the needle... What needle comes with stage1 kits as standard? AAA rings a bell?

Its a 998 by the way ;D

Thanks chaps.

can't remeber what i got with mine, think it was AAA or AAU.

do you have the standard airbox on??

i have and i made the holes in the front underside (outside the filter of course). Just had it rolling roaded and now have an AAM needle in and she runs sweet as a nut.

mine's 998cc too by the way.

No, I have a cone filter that comes with the stage one kits.

Also have Cooper freeflow manifold with single box RC40 system.

How much difference did the stage1 make on your 998 Sheepo?

Cheers.

hi i was told when i went to get mine that i needed the AAA with a K&N and what a difference it made over the standard item but i would take it for a rolling road first because you might need a different one as sheepo said from the AAA just ask before you take it if they stock the needles first good luck ?

not too sure about with the cone system, ive got the standard filter replacement and a twin box system.

Best thing to do is take it to a rolling road, they will get the best results from what you have. This i can say from experience as i had someone set it up by ear and it ran OK but the difference after a 2 hour rolling road tune was amazing.

You'll see what i mean when you get it done!! ;D
