Hi Guys! Sorry for my english! We have had this car for some years and now we decided to get in a restoration but first we need to know what the car is

We have a MK I shell with no numbers at all and it came out with a hydrolastic subframe

Any ideas what it might be? Or what should we do with it?

Thanks a lot

Agustin

well since you say Hydrolastic then 1964 to 1967 for mk1....do you have the boot lid latch as there is a date stamped on it same with the wiper motor cover, indicator stalk if you have engine then the date is stamped on the starter motor and dynamo......

I only have the shell... also all numbers of body were completely erased and that´s why I need some help from you guys.

Some guys from here said that it was the car a racer from Argentina used in some races anf then it disappeared from collectors register here...

So lets keep it continued... I need some help!

Not the heater hole, to big and wrong shape.
It looks like a early one because it does not have the safety boss for the door handles and I bet it had no hole for the heater intake in the bulkhead.

Better, clearer pictures would help but it looks fairly to be pretty early, maybe 1960, as it seems to have welded on seat brackets and no drip rails

looks like a late mk1 shell going by the double skin boot lid which the last of the mk1 mini had fitted..........(change over period) to mk11 shells

Not a later Mk1, it has the holes for piano hinge quarter glass, what is the bracket on the bulkhead crossmember next to the Hydro bracket? is that for a servo.
I note you have some of the windows, if you look at them they should have a word going around in a circle with 9 letters, above the word there will be a dot above one of the letters, count from the first letter and what number do you get.

The main problem here is that we have an original 1275 cooper engine that went out from a van thats original engine was a 848cc and it is now being restored with an 848cc engine we bought.

So is this project fair to get some cooper titles and get it "cooper" restored?

Thanks!!!
