Black bonnet for sure. paint it green people will think oh its not the same colour bla de blah but painting it black makes it look carbon fibrey from a distance which gives a bigger impression of speed.

hey there,

Your busad mini is looking lovely but could i ask how you have fitted your miglias, i have recently bought some and i am asking around to see how people have fitted them. So how have you fitted your arches? was it a long pregress and have you have any problems with them at all?

And again you have yourself a loverly car mate max Kudos!

HI all thanks for your comments!!!

i fitted my arches with some small zink coated brackets from B&Q, If the arches you have where like mine from curley carbon i had to remove loads off the back face to get them to fit right. You will need to take your time over this to get them looking good, i think i had to cut 30 mm of the rear ones to get them on correctly. i got my mate to hold the arch over the wheel with the front face in line with the tyre at the corret height then using you finger and a marker pen put your finger against the body and clamp the pen with your thumb then follow the arch round this will leave a pen mark on the bits you neen to cut away. when you have cut those bits off with a dremal do the same again and you should see the front face getting closer to the tyre and each time you take a cut just offer the arck to the body and it should follow the shape of the body , but remember that you have to stop when you get close to the edge of your tyre because of the width of your finger! it sounds more complicated than it is but do take you time. i also put a piece of rubber trim on the edge between body and arch this can be moved about a little to hide any gaps!!

hope this helps and i will post you a close up pic when i get home later!

Chris

thanks alot titters, pete with the z cars pick up aslso said i will need to fut a bit away from the arch to get it right with the body, i think i will try the little bracklet idea because thats what seems to be the most popular at the moment. titters some pics would be great but if you cant manage it then dont worry.

thanks alot for your help! Tomm
