Hi

I would like some advice on wheels. I used to have 4.5 x 10 steel replicas on ao38 tyres and they sat lovely ( i have no arches and dont want them ). I want something different and was wondering if 5 x 10 mambas on same tyres would fit ok i am aware they will stick out slightly but i dont want arches. I am running drum brakes on all 4 corners, any help or experience would be great

Thanks Jack

5 x 10 will fit so long as the datum offset is the same as the 4.5". Just measure it.

Another option is dunlop d1 wheels as they fit perfect as they are designed for drum brake offset. I have some on my mk2 cooper which has same offset on front as drum brakes, so check mambas to offset on the d1 wheels.
This pic of car although hydro has been deflated shows how they fit just under the arch.

Thanks for the pic that's really helpful. I do like the Dunlop wheels they look the part. I'm going to have a look out for some.

Cheers

These are 6" Mambas on regular drum brakes....no spacers or arches needed.  5" Mambas will have a slightly different off-set, so may sit the same at the fender...needing no arches
