BODYSHOP DEFENCE

after reading many a topic i notice people mostly frown upon bodyshops and their work and believe we are all rogue traders aiming to rip people off.
in our defence we are a bodyshop that offer genuine prices for good work. we take great pride in our paintwork and we ourselves get cross with hearing of other stories of bad work bein done as it seems to cast a shadow over us all.
just wanted to put my 2 cents worth in to say we aren't all bad and there are ,like us, some genuine people out there who do it properly and enjoy the feeling of sending out a good paintjob with a happy customer

Its just a few idiots that spoil it for eveyone else. Without them bodyshops would have a good name. Your bodyshop sounds great though.
I'll be getting Sieve sprayed with them

Totally agreeI don't think its just bodyshops, I believe garages in general have a much worse rep! In fact, I think there are more monkey service garages than good reputable ones!

Has anyone else tried to get hold of this guy for a quote ? I emailed him a couple (prob three) weeks back and had no response and PM'd him on here when he put this post up (jogged my memory!) and he hasnt come back to me.......
Blitz has problems connecting to the forum, mail him outside of the forum and you get a reply.
I did and i got a reply the next morning
Better still give him a bell!

My dad owning a bodyshop and garage and me working there alot of the time has shown me how people can be.
Everybodys happy to moan to everyone when theres a glitch, but when theres a silky smooth, spot on job at a good price done, you dont hear many people shouting praises.
Dont worry Blitz, just build yourself a good reputation. My dads business does no advertising and is full of full paint jobs and resto's all the time. All because of reputation by word of mouth.
