I've recently bought a TR6 to restore and whilst sorting out what I need to buy, get sorted etc. I noticed that the front seats are not correct well at least the drivers one isn't, initially I thought it came out of a TR2 or 3 however after a bit of googling my theory was wrong. I googled Restall seats and found that they were predominately made and used in Minis?

I've attached some pictures, just wondered if you guys could tell me any more information regarding the seat as it would be nice to find out what it was originally out of?

Thanks!!

It looks like a Restall Type 1 seat to me.

These could be trimmed to match the interior trim of your car and if it does match it might have been in there a long time. They are a great seat if you have a Restall shaped/sized rear end!

Worth a fair few bob I would have said.

Thanks for the quick reply 62S! Yeah it matches the passenger seat perfectly in styling and colour, unfortunately it's just the drivers seat I have and not a pair.

Would look great in my mini if it was a pair but not keen on mis matched seats.

Any idea on values?

I would suggest that you put it on ebay.
