Fitting up the doors now, got a really silly question re the clips, I know theres 5 on each strip( I have 20 in total, 10 inner and 10 outer ) and I think its the ones with one side curved or shaped like a D that go on the outside strip, does it matter which way round these go,ie. should the shaped side go on the outer side or on the inside of door. Don't know if it matters but presume it does as it wouldn't be shaped like it is. Hope this makes sense. Martin.

Hi there,
I believe you are right, the rounded bit goes towards the outside of the door (moulding). Did this on my friends car a couple of months ago.
Put the clips on the trim and not the car if I remember rightly, as the rounded bit slides in the rail.
You might want to protect with rust killer or/and some wax under there as the clips eat thru the paint as they go on. fit with the wax/rust killer still wet.
Now my car is 170 km from me so its a memory thing so cant show pictures or go check right now but I'm pretty sure about it. If you want confirmation I'm sure someone will confirm (or not).
Hope I make sense...
Ps: I had trouble with water getting in so I added some black silicone to finish the rubber as it was not quite long enough...
