Hi all,

 

have purchased some bonnet sound insulation from mini spares and will be installing it with spray adhesive. Just wondered if anyone had this kit as there is the shiny side and a brown side with what looks like a sticky surface underneath that looks like it might stick to the under bonnet. Would you guys think that this would stick to the bonnet without the adhesive or should I use the spray adhesive as extra protection?

There was a post on this in one of the Facebook Mini groups last week (I think). I don't know which side you are meant to stick down but I do know all the people on there said you had to use the adhesive and a lot more of it than is provided with the kit.
