Well it might be useful to someone, but I wouldn't mind betting that this will be used as a re-shell as he has the V5. Bit too expensive for what it is...

Tom you used to own this? I've made him an offer, he's thinking about it but I would want to return the shell back to its former glory not use the v5 on another shell

Yes he brought it of me last year I wished I kept it now but at the time needed space and money. I was going to restore it or do a rat look mk1 as it only needed new floor boot floor front end and bottom of doors needed repairing. Was pretty solid.

What did you offer him for it? You getting doors subframes etc included? Only asking I don't want it back I got enough projects on the go lol cheers Tom

Hi Tom I offered his starting bid with delivery 600, said he'd think about it, but I think all I'll get is the bare shell, what a shame that seems to be all there is, but its ideal for me to rebuild it into a nice mk1 but was thinking bike engined? Who knows, he might not sell, but if he does it could be time to sell my midget to go full on with it, I've had that 26 years and has all sorts of goodies done to it Inc 5 speed etc. I'll let you know, great pics thanks for showing

Well he didn't get back to me I think he expected a bit more than 600

There is a few mk1 minis on eBay it's worth buying one with parts as trying to find and get the parts after cost you just as much as buying one complete in first place. Cheers Tom
