Hello,

I'm Eric from France.

Lot of people always talks about the Sykes Pickavant ACR2 or 4.

But on other forums and lot of Rover and MG forums they all talks about the code reader T300

The T300 is MEMS compliant for Rover (all MEMS version 1.9 to the 2J witch one we have on the MPI)

(You can also buy a 5AS lead on Ebay made by Technozen to encode new key fob or modify the alarm Lucas)

Has anyone tried it ?

The price of the T300 on the '"Bay is only 130 pounds.

Thanks for the response, sorry if there is some mistakes but I'm French !

Thank you so much guys !

That's because i'm always reading English forums, it helps me a lot.

On other forums they said that de code reader T300  also can do DataStreaming and can erase the fault codes.

It can also program keys and immobilizer if you change your ECU but you need the 5AS lead.

I found the T300 on the Bay and the web for 110 pound (135 euros) delivery included.

I'm looking for informations for this code reader because I want to buy one but at decent price.

And that can communicate with our MEMS protocol is hard to find

(Sykes ACR, AD100, T300, PSCAN (but 150 for only a lead and a Software to put on your computer or netbook like some Rover Testbook that were only on Windows + a software+ a special lead and Tactile...)

On this page it's the manual of the T300 when used with a Rover protocol and on Page 8 you can see the selection of the Rover cars and we can see "MINI" on the screen

The T300 is a rip off Chinese copy of the AD100 (Advanced Diagnostics) unit. I have a blue one which I bought to further my study of these. It's a bit hit or miss as some of the readings are not correct and when trying to programme key fobs it didn't like doing several in sequence (which you need to do with MPi).
I'm using Paul's combo lead for MEMS/5AS (Technozen).
Last key fob programme on an MPi I had to abort and use my trusty SP ACR4 unit to get it done for a local club member.

I guess you get what you pay for.....
