Planning a trip to Mini Spares at the weekend, do you think I have everything covered with this lot? I'm not looking to change the geo etc. The reason I ahve chose lowered dampers is because I like the car how it currently sits which is probably standard sagged! So new cones will sit much higher I'd imagine.

Dampers & Hilos

Rear Hilo Rods

Cones

Knuckle Joints

Lower Arm Pin

Lower Arm Bushes

Upper Arm Repair Kit

Front Subframe Brackets

Front Teardrop Mountings

Front Subframe Poly Mounts

Rear Subframe Bush Kit

Anything else I need to buy?

I take it that this is a mostly road car?

The shock have zero to do with the ride height. Fitting either Standard or Lowered shock will not change anything in this regards. Being a Road Car, I'd strongly suggest running standard length shocks, then you'll have the full range of suspension travel that you have (and likely need for the road).

For the bushes, I would suggest Rubber over Poly and I'd suggest including a set for the Caster Rods too.

In regards to all the front Subframe Mounts, I'd suggest either going all rubber or all solid, not half and half. Fitting some mounts that do have give and some that don't will only likely lead to cracking of the body around those with the solid mounts.

I'd also suggest grabbing say half a dozen of these, you may or may not need them;-

<Edit: Grab a pair of rebound stops;-

I would do the ball joints while I was at it, possibly pads and shoes as well

It is very much a road car! The reason I wanted to go lowered dampers was I'd imagine the height now is effectively "lowered" (from the cones being so old) so I don't want it slammed, but I'd like to keep it at the height it is now.

Castor rods have already been done, reasoning for rubber over poly? I've always preferred how cars handle with poly over rubber, however never a mini.

I'll go all rubber on the subframe mounts then. Those shim style things am I'm best to replace that whole assembly area? I saw it on the diagrams on mini spares but didn't really know what it did.

Ball joints were done not so long ago when I did the drum to disk conversion :)

I do however have minifins and stuff to go on the back.
