Code 13 : fuel pump relay or purge valve or M.I.L. lamp or communications

When I errase the code it disappear, but  I start the car it reappear....

On the actuator mode of the ACR4 I made a test of the relays, nothing was wrong...

Help :X

Hello FlyingScot  :highfive:  ,

I'm happy to read you (I know that Injected Mini and code readers have no secrets for you ! )

Acr4 is number 30255400 (blue tranparent version)

Pod is number 30352800 (Multi Application Pod)

Lead is number 30214000

It read the fault codes, clear them; etc...

sometime it write "unable to etablish data communications check connections and retry"

But the ACR4 clear my fault code but if I start the engine this fault code come again...

Code 13 : fuel pump relay or purge valve or M.I.L. lamp or communications

as you are not getting any other running issues, other than the kangarooing, I would not worry. If everything is ok then maybe you should stop looking for a problem? I speak from experience here :)

for the kangarooing, check the engine steady bushes to start with

Are you selecting Rover > Engine > Petrol >MEMS 2J ?

Comms are always a bit hit and miss with MPI as the wiring is tightly bunched and poorly earthed.

MEMS 2J then 1300 Mini  and after that the ACR says "Self Testing" and that the ACR says it has found an ECU with MEMS 2J management

You might check the connection at the purge valve. The clips on mine cracked and were not holding the connector in place properly, eventually they fell off.

I added a zip-tie.

It would be best to replace it, but this has worked for quite a while.

I tested the purge valve today,
Résistance is OK
Connected it directly with 12V and can heard the movement inside.
