southern mini owners club are having a meet at the rochester queen pub (in rochester) Myself and 9 other minis, (so far) are meeting up tomorrow Wednesday 21st at rainham tescos at 7:45 to convoy accross to the pub. All minis welome.

Ok last night at 7:15 i left the house with brg and drove down through Sittingbourne and Rainham to get to the meet up point at the Tescos in Rainham.

As i pulled up there were a couple of sportspacks and my unclean :erm: cooper. I went and said hi and found them to be a friendly bunch. As we were talking another 3 sportspacks turned up plus a modified black and yellow mayfair, which looked nothing like a mayfair. (Who i later found out were people my family new and i had no idea they had 3 minis!) Nick turned up in his lightly modified seat leon r; he was the organiser and leader of the convoy (and his mini - vtec was in the bodyshop.) Finally the last mini showed up and it was a short wheel base with no roof and quad exhausts that sounded great :cool:

We left the tescos in the convoy of a seat leon r, modified mayfair, me, cooper sprts pack, the short wheel base, sprts pack, another, a red cooper, and brg cooper. We decided to take the motorway over the town routes as we'd get split up, as we did on the way to the motorway. Nick kept pulling away in his leon then slowing down for us as the chap in front of me could only manage 60. Also we had to wait for others to catch up. (i have a video of some of this but dont know whether it will upload?)

We arrived at the rochester queen pub (see pics) and parked up to find another array of minis there. We went in and had a nice chat and meet up (put faces to names.) We had a great chat about minis and vtec conversions and upcoming events that the club has and attends. And my name is now down for the Rainham Car show, which is a modified car show for ALL cars to participate in on August the 1st. Brg went outside for some air so i joined him and the party was getting started, a couple of people got out their remote controls and one beap and there car was lit up with angel eyes neons and leds. A fantastic site. This is a taster for the glow show that is held at SMDs at 10pm.

The chap with the short wheel base (i cant remember his name ) had some clever touches, because he had no rear screen he used his rear window heater as a button to turn on his neons, glow wired dash, strobes and nightrider lights. The brake fluid button was converted to a very swift boot release. :smartass:

We said our good byes and headed back in the darkness at around 10. We decided to go back via the motorway, getting there we went by a roads and it took a while. Going by motorway was a lot quicker. Brg also used my camera to film this but it hasnt come out to well because its too dark. We were blasting along the motorway at speed when up ahead there was a police car so i pulled in a few cars behind and stuck to 70 as other cars flow passed seeing the police late and slamming on the breaks to get passed jus above 70

We got back to faversham, i dropped brg off and then uploaded my pics/clips. I should have taken more really but i only got a few.
