Quick question - will the later gauges work in an earlier car which originally had Smiths gauges?

Thanks!!

I've had them fitted to my 78 mini with no problems. Can't be sure of the accuracy of the fuel gauge but couldn't on the original smiths ones either.

Speedo may need recalibrating depending on the gearbox drive and source of the later dials.

Thank you! Need something to use whilst I refurb my smiths!
