HI, I'm looking for someone who knows their way around a Mini to do some work on a 1973 998 preferably in situ but it can be taken away or delivered locally.  It needs things like suspension/steering parts, all round brake refresh (shoes, cylinder rebuilds, maybe pipes, maybe drums), wheel bearing replacement, and a bit of welding on the rear by the subframe mount.  It needs more than that but those are the essentials for now.

Now all this is within my capability - (eventually) - but I'm in the middle of renovating my house and I don't have time for it and the girlfriend, (whose car it is), really wants it in time for the London to Brighton Mini Run for which we have a ticket.

The only garage I've used is a certain garage in Brighton who were recommended as dealing with Classic Minis but after spending money on clutch pistons, rods & arms and parts only for them to 'fess up that it was the gap on the return stop causing the issue doesn't exactly fill me with confidence particularly as it was my suggestion in the first place.

Happy to discuss options with anyone experienced and qualified who wants the work.

Thanks Steve, spoke to Frank yesterday and he's happy to take a look.  Thanks for the link up, I said you referred me so hopefully some kudos for you if it comes off.

Might join the Brighton Mini Club for the missus, been meaning to for the last 3 years :-)
