Finally got around to lifting my engine out this morning.
All was going well, I had knocked the driveshafts about halfway out of the gearbox, and couldn't get them out any further. I had read that if you lift the engine slightly with them still in, you gain a bit of space to fully knock them out.
As I lifted the engine slightly, it spun round. In the process it separated both pot joints and opened up the gaiter.
So the ends of both pot joints are now off the driveshafts. What do I need to do to repair them?
