hello i am in process of trying to rescue the threads in my mini 

have took off rear subframe and snapped a bolt that goes into the sill area 

have managed to drill out most off old bolt so now want to run a tap/die down hole

does anyone know the size and thread i req

Then it's 5/16" UNF.

Very common you got off lightly with 1
had all 4 snap very recently
As above 5/16 just dont forget the copper grease as it does help for future
