Excellent Spec car I use it everyday for work and play,

 

conservative

116 bhp

100 lb ft torque

 

Sadly quitting mini's due to move. lot of money spent on it complete restoration 5 years ago including full floor, rear quarters, full boot, sills, bulkhead,door skins and 2 piece fiberglass front end.

2 new sub frames, front solid mounted.

Bodywork is very decent with minimal rust, off side rear arch joint showing some surface rust.

Set of minator winter alloy wheels shod with new nankang 145/70/R12 winter tyres

Set of supalight alloy wheels shod with decent tread yokohama A539 175/50/R13 72V tyres

Currently 11080 miles since new engine and bottom up body rebuild with new subframes

Pair of cobra Monaco pro front seats and harness

Full set of hilo’s with adjustable rebound shocks

4 pot alloy “John cooper” front brakes with drilled and grooved disks

Finned rear alloy drums

RC40 exhaust

digital dash includes all instruments

Fletcher Alloy 2 core radiator

new 70 amp alternator, for the extra lighting!

 

Years MOT – expires 25 February 2017

The engine purchased new from Keith Calver in 2011

 

Mini Magazine Project engine build – 1275cc bored 73.5mm (1380cc)                                                             10.10.11

 

This engine is the one as built for and used in the cam comparison test as tested on the Damico Engines engine dyno, as reported on in an issue of mini magazine,

with fully re-built A+ gearbox to include a cross-pin diff assembly.

 

Engine block and cylinder head assembly, built with the following new parts;

Calver Special Tuning latest spec super-sports cylinder  head on brand new MPi casting complete with lead-free exhaust seat inserts, manganese-bronze guides, 1.402”(35.6mm)  inlet valves, 1.16”(29.5mm) exhaust valves, 220lb double valve springs and A+ sprung type valve stem seals.

MED big shaft 1.5 roller tip rockers.

Alloy rocker cover with chrome fittings and new genuine Rover seals.

Competition head stud, washer and nut kit.

Genuine Payen BK450 composite head gasket.

Omega cast 73.5mm piston set.

ACL Duraglide competition spec main bearings +0.010”.

ACL Duraglide competition spec big end bearings +0.010”.

Centre main thrust washers.

ARP mains bolt washers.

RE13OT spec road-sports camshaft .

Cam follower set (standard).

Oil pump.

Stainless steel braided oil transfer pipe assembly.

Double 'O'-ringed chromed T-handle dipstick.

IWIS super-high quality simplex cam chain.

New cam chain tensioner.

New cam drive gear cover.

High capacity water pump.

By-pass hose and clips.

Engine gasket set including engine to gearbox and transfer casing gaskets and primary gear oil seal

H&H 65DM4 full electronic distributor and coil kit, advance curve modified for this application.

NGK BP7ES spark plugs.

Oil filter.

Manifold gasket.

ITG twin 1.5” filter and stub-stack assembly.

MED pre-Verto-type ultra-light flywheel and clutch assembly.

Clutch operating arm.

Clutch plunger.

Clutch release bearing and retaining ring.

Stainless steel fixings for timing cover and clutch cover.

 

Fully re-built A+ gearbox assembly with competition centre oil pick-up pipe, MSC cross-pin diff unit, 3.44 FD fitted for use with 13” wheels/tyres.

 

Maniflow medium bore LCB.

Pair HS4 1.5” SU carbs with linkage

Steel fabricated inlet manifold CST design for twin 1.5” SU carbs

you might want to get some more pics up to help the sale, especially the areas that are more prone to rust, including underneath.

Nice spec engine there
