Polished bliss purely because they are local to me :) Great bunch of guys (and a gal!) and will go out of their way to help you.
*words & stuff* Simoniz Origional Wax. *words & stuff* takes countless hours to do the Simoniz correctly. No machines, all hand polish.
Waxing shouldn't take that long, polishing by hand will take forever though! I find so may people who get confused with the difference with polishing and waxing.

Not sure, short of a polisher kit (eg: including pads and polishes) that you can really get "kits" as such.. and to be honest, like with most things, buying things individually gives you a lot more freedom / flexibility in getting what you want.. for example, I like Menzerna polishes, and I like Lake Country pads for the most part, but sometimes Chemical Brothers pads are better in some circumstances for me for different paint hardness, and then I like a mixture of waxes / sealants, such as FinishKare 1000P wax, or some Dodo Juice stuff, and also Sonax Ultimate Shine quick detailer etc etc etc.. so buying preferred individual items is much better and more cost effective in the long run.
I get most of my stuff from Clean Your Car, have done for the past 5 years.
Remember though, that all of this is useless without preparation; preparation is _THE_ key to a decent finish.. so a good wash (2 buckets, wash mitt etc), tardis, iron-x and claybar to remove contaminants, more washing.. polish.. more washing.. IPA wipe down.. more washing, then wax and or sealant.. then I go over with a quick detailer wipe over too.
Not done my minis yet, but my Focus RS took 28 hours last time I did it before heading off to Ford Fair (got a Range Rover Sport to do this time.. probably double those hours!).. but I'd probably put by a weekend to do a proper job :)
Cheers..
Ian

I use polished bliss as others have mentioned and cleanyourcar. Halfords also has a 3 for 2 on cleaning products if you wanted to have a look.

What's the best method to drying your car between washes? I'm guessing microfibre towel? (Any cheap deals out there?)
Also I live in a hard water area. what peoples opinions on best shampoo for reducing mineral spots after washing?

They have drying towels I've gone for a towel and a wheel towel.
Not sure how long the offer lasts but discount code new30 gives 30% off and I think it's free postage. The code is to celebrate their new website
