Sunpro Dials......

Best Answer dklawson , 01 April 2016 - 11:47 AM

This is a very common problem and it is not unique to the Sunpro gauge.

What you need is adapter TE5 from Mini Spares.  It's purpose is to prevent a mechanical temperature gauge expansion bulb from bottoming out inside the cylinder head.

I know I'll probably get slated for buying the Sunpro gauges, but I need to use them for now.

The water temp isn't fitting, the probing bit at the sender end is quite long and doesn't leave enough to get the nut on tight. Also I don't have an oil tube for the oil pressure has anyone else had these problems with Sunpro, any ideas what to do? Cheers.

My gauge kit Came with everything ready to fit. The only problem was the water probe like yours. I made a small adapter to solve this, only need 5 mm more actually.
