Hi, would anyone have an idea on if it's possible to repair a tin sump that has got a hole from rust? I was thinking about using some sort of filler or fibreglass. I could buy a new one from euro car parts but I would like the satisfaction of repairing what I have if possible.

Buy one, you can fibreglass it up but it will leak again

To do any sort of worthwhile repair you'll need to remove the sump and degrease it properly. At that point you might be better off just replacing it.

Personally if I was dead set on repairing it I would braze the holes up but I'm guessing you haven't got an oxy acetylene setup.

I will be removing it first. Maybe a new one is in order.
