Well another update for anyone that might be interested, Got another bit done this weekend further stripped it down so not much left on it. Also have the engine and gearbox finnished and tested it running.

Not sure what to do with the rust in the bulkhead anyone any ideas? With all the stripping finnished i got the car outside to power wash it inside and out and next up remove all the bitumen from the floors. Waiting to drill all the spotwelds for the companion bin so i can replace the drivers side front to rear heritage floor pan

Havent updated this in a while for anyone thats interested i finally got the front end welded on just to sort the A panels next, but happy overall with the fit. The one thing im not happy with is the fitment of the top right hand corner of the door on the frame. Any ideas how i could sort this?

Nice project, I have seen a few times on here the door frame cut then extended slightly to reduce the gap

Yeah i was kind of thinking that alright. Would doing that have any affect with the window in the door not closing properly after the frame is lengthened as such?
Just a thought

If it's the door that's wrong not the body there shouldn't be a problem with the window if you correct the door.

Nice work. As for the door the top right frame looks twisted in, so maybe try twisting that back first. This might make the gap look more even.

Look in this thread for adding steel to the frame and closing the gap. http://www.theminifo...s/#entry2247769
