ello everyone. Recently i have the urge to start my first project car. My uncle owns a Mini and built it himself ages ago and insists that if i want to start a project a Mini is the way to go. My plan is to find a cheap mini and restore it. No troblem finding a cheap mini, but im looking at putting a 1275 cooper engine in. Cant seem to find a decent one or one at all on ebay, and alot of the mini shops i go to online have racing spec engines which im not after. So can any one direct me to were i can find a cooper engine, and how much i would expect to pay for one? Any help and info would be apprieciated.

I'd get the Mini sorted first... Engines one of the last on my list. As for engines, here is your best bet as there are a few people on here breaking them.....
