so as goes:
1980 Austin Mini GT 2.0 redtop
MOT till june
2.0 astra gte engine running megajolt and zx9r carbs on a Bogg Bro's inlet manifold. F20 gearbox.
Retropower 4-1 exhaust manifold and custom system which sounds amazing.
Fibreglass front and doors with poly windows.
Front and back roll cage.
13x7 minilites with two brand new yoko a539's on front and good 1's on the back.
new zx9r fuel pump which cuts out to not over pressurise.
I just fitted new carpet yesterday and made a cross member piece to tidy up.
from working out it has a 3.9 ish diff in it which makes it more suitable as track or sprint car but I've just used it as a town and show car.
Now for the bad'ish parts,
The doors as with all fibreglass ones are pineapple but I will give the original gt doors with it which only 1 needs two small holes repairing and the bottoms are mint on both. It could really do with a respray to make it mint but the car is rock solid with new floors and sills and boot section.
