Evening guys,

I need to replace the wires on my British Open roof. Last time I looked, before winter, they were readily available on eBay. However now I can't find any!

Does anyone know where they are available from?

Thanks

I don't mind using a good substitute, that's a good one! Thanks

Change of plan... I started stripping it down today to remove and I noticed that the motor was loose. Tightened it all up and now it works again!!!

:D

I have a problem with my webasto electric sunroof that seems to jam on one side as it goes back and doesn't fully close, the motor just sort of spins and it doesn't seal up.... Any ideas as I can't use the car!

Have you checked whether the motor has come loose? That was my fix!

I will check that thanks! I haven't got the tool or the access area behind the sunroof to manually wind the sunroof tight / shut... Do you have one or can send a pic of what it looks like?

They weren't for sale when I was looking, that's why I started this thread.

I don't know what the winding tool looks like I'm afraid. Mine doesn't have the original motor, I replaced it with one from a Golf and that can be wound on with a flat scredriver.
