In trial fitting the trigger wheel on my engine while its out of car, the curved alloy bracket that comes in kit doe,snt seem to line up with any of the bolts on the cam cover. I know I have an older cambelt drive made by trigga and an alloy back plate, but I have lined up bracket against A and A+ back plates and does,nt seem to line up with any. Am I missing something? Can't seem to find any pics on the web showing this bracket fitted. May have to fabricate a bracket from bottom rad mount. Will put up pic of offending item later.

As it says it is A+ fitting.

It should be fair obvious where it goes when you have the trigger wheel in place and the engine at TDC.

Not really as at tdc on the pulley, the outer trigger wheel can be adjusted 360 degree,s within its locking adjustment nut. All the pics I've seen have the pick-up at 9,oclock to the pulley face.

It appears that mystery is solved, the bracket will definately not fit, because being automatic there,s a big square lump of aluminium ( part of box) getting in way of the bracket, hence was a hole I had previously disregarded. Will now have make one. Thanks Nick.

Yep, short of taking a chunk out with the powerfile, i,m gonna fit on otherside, just have to check for other hose type issues.
