when I was an apprentice (70's 80's) we dumped loads of these at the scrappy - when we moved workshops

 

for coffee money  :shy:

 

I know the glass washer bottles were dumped in favour of the plastic ones as they were ok with freezing  >_<  & were in the way (with lid IIRC)

 

My old boss kept loads of useless stuff - now would be worth a fortune

 

I think anyone who dumped overstocked / redundant spares in the 70's / 80's should get a cut of these inflated prices

 

as we helped inflate the prices  ;D

  • It's the box that is driving the price up - A bit like the NOS packaging some sellers use to advertise there good but are not included in the sale!!
