Hello Guys,

I have a little problem here.

I have a 1996 Rover Mini Equinox. and these door mirrors are fitted:

http://www.minisport...onvex-lens.html

Obviously, these mirrors are not standard on my mini, as the holes are not in the same place as original mirrors on the door.

Now the frustrating bit.... To make these mirrors fit, the actual door was drilled - meaning if i was to take the mirror off, ill be left with 4 holes (2 original holes, 2 drilled holes - to fit the mirrors)

I cannot see out of the above mirrors, as the lip on the door blocks the view.

I have purchased (new mirrors):

Yet, if i was to fit these mirrors, i will be left with a hole in my door, as the first mirrors mentioned, required holes further apart.

My question is this: is there an adapter that I can purchase, that uses the non-standard holes that are drilled further apart, that allows for the new mirrors ive bought above to fit to the adapter?

Any advice and help would be appreciated.

Thanks

please see the attached image - it may make more sense!

wonder if you could make a plinth out of nylon , that covers the spare holes but mounts the mirror with the new holes

or just get a neat little bung that fills the spare hole

can't remember for sure - but did the city have bungs in the passenger side holes when not fitted with passenger mirror ?

or were their no holes drilled ?
