Silly question really but i have managed to lose my original A+ 1275 engine inner rocker shaft pedestal nuts and the ones i have seem to be a little loose on the studs !

What type and size should they be ? 13mm ? The only ones i could get my hands on in the garage seem to be UNF i think i purchased them for the rest of the car as its a mk1 but i assume my later engine should be metric ? Washer or built into nut type like head nuts?

I have all the head bolts in place but cant torque them down until i get these sorted, i have attempted to locate them on the minispares site but no joy  :goaway: Please help ...

They wont be metric.

Very little on a mini is metric as standard. There's something stupid like one of the brake line connections, but that's it

LOL so its just a plain nut and washer set up, nothing fancy !

I searched for rocker pedestal nut ooops

I will measure the ones i have to confirm they are the same size, it was just the wiggle/play in them that got me spooked .

Thanks guys  ;D

They are plain 5/16 UNF nut, but should be using a decent spec material.

A conrod splined nut does if you need fancy, i.e. roller tip rockers.
