What type of convertible is it? Any photos?

If it's been converted at some point, then it's most likely a "Keith Convertible" as this was the most popular modification to turn the Mini into a convertible.

Not a factory convertible
Rover mini cabriolet was the only factory convertible
The earlier factory approved conversion done by the Germans is called a Lamm
Plenty of info on google

Im sure youre very aware its not a Rover or Lamm but even after searching for you on the usual sites ive not been able to find anything.

Looks well done and could be unique?

Not unique, i've seen one before. Actually thought it was the same car but the one i saw was a d-reg. I got photos somewhere. See if i can find them later.

Would be great to see another one so we can compare them. Ive never seen one like this before. Looks well crafted.

ha ha, i've been struggling to find the pics but... i got them :D

this was back in 2007 and the car belonged to a friend of a friend who joined us on a club stand at stanford hall.

i don't actually know anything about the car but when i saw yours i thought it was the same one. but this is a D-reg. it does look very similar but only you can tell us if its the same conversion...

EDIT: looking at it now i can see its NOT the same :shy:  but very close... so it could be unique after all !!! O_O

The D-reg car above is definitely a Keith conversion like mine:

The one posted by iToNiiCz is something else, possibly a home conversion by the looks of it.
