I know what you were thinking when you seen the title... another guy that didnt do the search...BUT

I know the basic plumbing as per all the pics - fuel, overflow and breather... but i cant remember ever seeing this. The HIF44 i picked up for my clubman estate build has two vac points on the carb alone and also has another pipe on the opposite side of the fuel in.

Why and what for? calling on you lot as i cant remember these on the last one i had.

Also all the hoses are temporary to try and run the thing before the rear subframe and whatnot is finished. the fiting to the bottom left is just a gauge to set the regulator on the filterking

Cheers,

Chris

Yeah it's fine it's gear we use at work for low pressure testing on fuel oil and the likes so no concern. Plus it's only temporary. Once the rear subframe goes in the proper gear will be going in. Any idea on that right pipe sticking out the carb?

The big "vac" is for the part throttle weakening device. It connects via a short hose to a pipe on the s, above the overflow.

It could have been one of a multi carb setup if the extra pipe is a fuel inlet/outlet.
