First post. Just started looking at getting our recent purchase back on the road after 6 months off.

While changing pads the wheels seem strange to me. Am I right in thinking there is something wrong?
1. The wheels don't locate on the hub but rely on the wheel nuts.
2. The nuts don't run all the way onto the studs.
3. Front and rear have different nuts.

Should I have longer studs or does all seem good? I would like matching nuts at least.

Thanks Andrew

I gather that all is ok. Just buy new nuts for a Tapered seat. Thanks.

I have the same rims (same car too but green and in boxes) and it just seems you have just lost the aluminium nut caps so it might not be a proper size for you tools either...

even the new ones seem to loose the caps quite easily so my advice when you get the new nuts is to remove the caps and pinch them slightly, grease, then refit.

They are quite easily chewed too so be careful the first time you fit them.
