Hi,
Look-up Simon bbc/powerspark. They sell an electronic ignition kit for the Lucas distributor range for around £26.
From all accounts on here, its a very good system!

Why not buy a Omex ECU, and go wasted spark, and you will also be able to map the ignition far more accurately.
I know it would cost much more money, but It's the best solution. ![]()

I'd say stick with a distributor as its in keeping with a classic and how it was made.
