Yes the fuelling curves in the internal tables are different for the Cooper version over the standard SPiAre these programmed differently to the standard SPi ECU.....?

I just wanted to upgrade the map on my SPi... so it runs better and has a bit more power... there is nothing wrong with my ECU...
Mine has a standalone immobiliser, it isn't built into the ECU...

Can't be done in the way your suggesting mate, cooper has a more than just a different ECUI just wanted to upgrade the map on my SPi... so it runs better and has a bit more power... there is nothing wrong with my ECU...
Mine has a standalone immobiliser, it isn't built into the ECU...

OK mate, no problem :)
I was under the impression that the SPi Mayfair engine was just a detuned Cooper SPi engine, via the ECU...
I shall go down the mechanical upgrade route instead with a different cam etc.. :)
