I am from Burnham on Sea Motor Club and I thought I would let you know about our Classic Car Tour on Sunday the 17th of July. It will be starting in Glastonbury Abbey Car park, breaskfast is served opposite in the Abbey Tea rooms.
This year you will be in for a real treat because the finish is at Haynes Motor Museum, we have private parking and use of the private function room for Haynes High Tea. We will get you to the museum in olenty of time for you to be able to look around at the newly extended building, entry fee to the museum isnt included in the tour entry fee, how ever we have an offer for people on the tour which is cheaper.
Haynes High Tea consists of:
Selection of finger sandwiches
Warm quiche
Homemade plain, fruit and cheese scones, serves with clotted cream cheddar and sweet chilli jam
All served with pots of coffee and tea.
We will also have a midway point so everyone can regroup and have a yarn before setting off to the finish. The route will be about 60-70miles to the finish from Glastonbury.
All profits go to Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, in previous years we have raised £500 for them.
