Probably a daft question, but anyway ..
I need to cut out some smaller bits on my (very slow) resto but not sure how to go about it. I need to cut a samll area out of my top dash rail that has rotted along with the corner of the windscreen suŕround - it's obviously too small an area to get an angle grinder in to - so what do others use?
Thanks

I find a dremmel with the right angle head adapted quite handy for tight areas and small amounts of cutting/grinding

Yep I'll second that by a real dremel tool but would also say stick to dremel branded discs there pricey but are stronger than the cheaper equivalent versions

Dremel if you have no access to a compressor.

If you have access to a compressor then use a right angle die grinder with a 3mm shanked carbide burr.

Drill a hole in it then use a hacksaw blade.

I also use a dremmel and the reinforced cutting discs for it are very good in awkward areas, pretty sure you could use a carbide burr in a dremmel as well.

I have a black and decker multi tool similar to a dremell. Bought some cheap cutting discs off ebay that hardly scratched the paint!! Reckon if i get genuine dremel discs that should be sufficient?

I've used these on 20 gauge. Expensive, but they work.
