I wonder if anyone can help.... I have a set of these seats but not sure what they came from originally. I have only ever seen one other set and neither were in a mini.

They are SPI seats and are black vinyl with cream cloth very similar to the MPI monaco seats but not quite the same. The black vinyl extends higher (to the top rather than cut off) and the rears are the same. They have the larger side bolsters so definitely not mpi.

I would love to know what they came from originally. They look like the monte carlo special edition but in black rather than red?

Any ideas?

There's a listing on eBay (number 391463650542), that are very similar and claim to be MPI Monaco seats.

definitely not Monte Carlo seats, the black models still came with red seats, I cant zoom the pictures in enough to get a better idea

I think they must have been the cross over of the SPI and MPI, using up the left over SPI seats with the Monaco material.

Thanks, that would definitely make sense. I can't see the Facebook page (not on facebook) but that's sort of what I wondered. So last of the spis/an early mpi maybe.
