pete, where the carb is on the inlet of the turbo rather than between thee turbo and engine. the turbo sucks throught he carb hence the name.
that tubo looks like a T2 to me, is there no part numbers on the turbo? or do you just have the manifolds?

I'd give TT a call; they were pretty helpful when I was trying to find out about a turbo I had on the shelf with one of their part numbers on it previously

Personally, I'd do everything I could to convert it to a blow-through setup. There are so few changes required to make an SU work under boost (and what changes are required are very simple), the penalty/challenges of drawing fuel through a compressor just doesn't make sense.
Edit: I am making an assumption that you'll be using a HIF. That withstanding, I'd change to a HIF if that was all that was stopping me running blow-through.
