Halfords has reduced the flywheel puller kit to £10 if anyone needs one. Says out of stock online but go in store and they are in the clearance section

Also if you have trade card it takes it down to £8!!!

Id get something a bit more sturdy for the mini. I've broken 2 trying to remove a flywheel.

Waste of money even for £8, worst puller ever.

Mines been fantastic. Used it about 20 times no issues.
Probably down to user error if they don't work.

I have also used one, first flywheel I've ever taken off. Had to stand on my 2 foot bar and leave it that tight for half hour before it popped off with a few more bangs with a hammer.

I'm not complaining.

All it is is some metal with holes and bolts can't see much going wrong with it if used properly

My problem was the threads on the bolts, they were wrong and would only go in so far. Once tightened it kept stripping the threads off with any real force put on it, making it the incorrect tool for the job, maybe I got it wrong? It's probably a good tool but was wrong for my mini.

I've used the one from Halfords with a hydraulic jack whilst wacking the crap out of it with a lump hammer over a period of three days and it didn't fail. You've got to get them square though
