Cheap Insurance For Young Driver?

does anyone have any recommendations  to insure my mini, I'm 17 and currently insure my vw polo but tried to get some quotes on my mini and are all well over 2000! so if anyone had any other suggestions would be great!

'89 998 mayfair, I think it was that price for 10 months. Not sure about 1275s but mine is group 1

Have a look into doing your PassPlus, brings your insurance down a lot!

All about your area, different statistics for different areas. Also age of the mini and if its a limited edition. I could get a price of £920 on a 91 Mini Studio 2, yet my actually mini is a Y plate 83 Mini Mayfair and it was £1200 with no mods and £1500 with all my mods declared or £156.53 a month(I pay monthly as its what I prefer).
