Hi all,

Has anybody else had trouble trying to fit the ducting that goes from the RF wheel arch to the side of the heater? It just really seems like the route it has to take shouldn't work around the pedal box. Or maybe I'm just being inept...

It's an absolute ball ache. I found using a hair drier and crimping the pipe to go round the steering column helped.

Lol, just struggled with this. On at bottom, just to the edge of the lip at top. Resorted to gaffs tape to make the join as air tight as possible. Think I will be revisiting this though !!

It's just so cramped under there !!

It must be easier to redesign the entire heating system than fit one of those! I seem to remember lots of aggro last time, plus bodging it with gaffer tape. Maybe everyone does that?

The big problem is that the fresh air heater was an afterthought, and was squeezed in by someone other than the original design team. I did not help matters by pulling it out without making careful note of exactly where it went. It really does seem to be impossible...

I wish you every success and no skinned knuckles.

Since first attempting to fit it I have done all manner of other jobs to avoid it
