Hi there, my engine is turning over and there is a spark at the plug but no ignition. Any suggestions? I've just swapped engines so my main suspect is the distributor however I have not the faintest clue on how to set up the dizzy.

So you have spark do you have fuel? Takes a long time to get from the tank to the carb if the system was dry.

Yes I have fuel, can smell it through the spark plug hole and it was is the carb so I don't see why it would have got from the carb to the engine.
