Evening guys i have searched on here for a solution first before posting, with no avail. I recently added a stage one kit to my 998 mini city e that was last started about 2 months ago. I am trying to diagnose why it wont start, as im getting a strong blue spark,

So i checked my spark plugs and they are dry however there seems to be signs of fuel getting out between the carb and inlet manifold.

do you guys have any possible solutions/steps to try next?

Im getting fuel in my float bowl and my dashpot is full of oil.

Thanks in advance, Luke

sounds like the carb needs to come off & check the gasket's

if fuel is dribbling out from the manifold flange - then air is getting in

so weakening the mix , to the point where the mix won't combust

I would also check something isn't fouling on the exhaust manifold , stopping the carb mating properly

also look at the plate that holds the return spring (abutment plate - if yours has one) it needs gaskets both sides

Thanks, ive ordered a new 7.5mm thin carb spacer! As currently i only have paper gaskets and no spacer, due to the lack of room. Hopefully the plastic spacer will seal it up better.

Remember that there needs to be a gasket on each side of the spacer when installed.
