"Fully Reconditioned HIF44 SU Carburettor - BDL Needle"

 

A fully reconditioned HIF44 SU Carburettor from DGS Carburation in Liverpool, bought last year and it wasn't needed as the fault was elsewhere. It has been fully polished and cleaned as well as reconditioned with genuine SU parts. 

 

DGS Carburation were recommended by quite a few people. It has a BDL needle in currently, compared to the standard BFY, for additional performance enhancements when combined with the right engine upgrades, for example:

 

BFY - 1275cc, HIF44, Standard Rover Cooper setup

BDL - 1275cc, HIF44, 9.75:1CR, MG inlet, LCB, RC40, K&N, std head

BDL - 1275cc MG Metro standard
