hi everyone.
I have just purchased my first mini. Love the car . 1989 1275 cc stage one hif44. The car runs well above 2000 rpm. Take off from a light it has a bog off idle. Also when you dip the clutch pulling up to a light it will drop down to 500 to 600 rpm , hesitate for a second and return to idle which I have set at approx. 1000 rpm. I am new to the su carb. I am wondering if the dash pot oil has something to do with this. I have 10w 30 in the dash pot. or perhaps a vacuum line. I live in a small town in Ontario Canada and have no access to a rolling road nor any mini owners to ask for help. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
