Rear Subframe Bush Direction

Hi can someone pleas advise which way the bush goes on the rear subframe

I think its the first picture a but want to check

It says B on the minispares diagram below, but I'm pretty sure the haynes manual says the other way, will check later on if nobody else replies.

I've was going with B like the mini spares diagram but looking at some image's it looked more like A

Mini spares and Haines is B so I would go b put it in the wrong way if you like though lol

It's A according to the rover RAVE manual as well as preventing over adjusting lateral movement within the front of the subframe.

The ones on my 1980 Clubman, which I'm pretty sure have never been changed, were A too.

Just removed the original subframe from my 95 Sprite - it was A

You could solve the dilemma, and stiffen things up somewhat, by fitting a pair of the earlier type of trunnions, with identical half bushes put in from each side!
